Welcome To Kaleidoscope
In one word, Kaleidoscope, presented nationally by Carolinas HealthCare System's Levine Cancer Institute, is a celebration. Kaleidoscope is a nationally televised special that brings together a star-studded cast of award-winning musicians and champion athletes in an artistic salute to cancer survivors nationwide. In addition, Kaleidoscope connects patients and caregivers to information and resources to help them thrive and feel empowered.
The event is broadcast nationally Thanksgiving weekend, increasing the impact of the survivorship messaging. Kaleidoscope is produced in partnership with the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) to salute America’s twelve million plus cancer survivors and their loved ones.
This year, Olympic superstars Gabrielle Douglas, Aly Raisman and Jordyn Wieber will show their support for the cause and will join hosts Scott Hamilton and Verne Lundquist as their special guests. The show stars Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, Olympic silver medalist Nancy Kerrigan, Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen, four-time world champion Kurt Browning and Olympic silver medalist Paul Wylie. Special musical performances by country music icon and Grand Ole Opry member Craig Morgan, Grammy Award-winning pop legends Kool & The Gang and country music chart-topping star Jana Kramer will add to the celebration.
The broadcast special will air nationally Sunday, November 25, 2012, directly following the NFL game from 5:00 – 6:00p.m. ET on CBS.
