The Kaleidoscope Youth Center offers a variety of programming opportunities for the youth who utilize the center.

We stay true to our mission by intentionally designing programs that answer the needs of social, cultural, and educational demands. Programs are structured to fit the many styles and personalities of the LGBTQ youth community. The Center's current programming has a couple of main components. They are advocacy, education, support and safe space.

Safety & Supervision

Kaleidoscope Youth Center is a physically and emotionally safe environment that affirms and encourages self-respect, personal growth, and community among young people who self identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and/or those who are culturally and ethnically diverse.

During all open hours, and every Kaleidoscope sponsored activity, there are two or more adult volunteers or staff present to assist the youth. All adults complete an application, interview and background check prior to direct interaction with the youth.
