Kaleidoscope Youth Center is open Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm-9:00 pm. The Center is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning youth and their allies aged 12-20.

All of our programs, services, and activities are always free.

The Center is located at 1904 N. High Street (across from the Wexner Center on the OSU campus).

Kaleidoscope Youth Center is a physically and emotionally safe environment that affirms and encourages self-respect, personal growth, and community among young people who self identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and/or those who are culturally and ethnically diverse.

During all open hours, and every Kaleidoscope sponsored activity, there are two or more adult volunteers or staff present to assist the youth. All adults complete an application, interview and background check prior to direct interaction with the youth.

Our large recreation room offers youth a safe place to talk, listen to music, play pool, watch movies, or read.

The Computer Lab has Internet access and is also home to a lending library with over 300 titles.
A general project room can be used for GSA meetings, Center committees and a number of different artistic endeavors.

The Center also boasts a small snack bar with pizza maker, microwave and refrigerator. There is usually a good selection of pop, juices, crackers, fruit and chips to choose from.
